Urinalysis Strips

 Urine Reagent Strips are firm plastic strips to which are affixed separate reagent sections. Test results provide information regarding the status of carbohydrate metabolism, kidney function, liver function, acid-base balance, and bacteriuria. The Urine Reagent Strips feature clinically tested accuracy and sensitivity, are easy to use, economical, and are now widely used around the globe. A variety of parameters, ranging from 1 to 10, are available. 

 

Urine Reagent Strips provide tests for the semi-quantitative determinators of:

• protein

• glucose

• ketone

• bilirubin

• blood

• nitrite 

• urobilinogen

The Urine Strip is intended for the determination of Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketone, Specific Gravity, Blood, pH, Protein, Urobilinogen, Nitrite and Leukocytes in urine. This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only, and not intended for use in emergency rooms or point of care facilities. 

 

Urinalysis by the “Dip & Read” Method is widely practiced as a rapid chemical analysis to diagnose various diseases. These reagent strips consist of plastic strips with sections for Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketone, Specific Gravity, Blood, pH, Protein, Urobilinogen, Nitrite and Leukocytes. To determine the concentration for each parameter, a color chart is provided, or the Pulse Urine Analyzer can be used. These reagent strips are an easy and convenient way to provide information on the status of carbohydrate metabolism, kidney and liver function, acid-base balance, and urinary tract infections.
