Autoclave Tape

 

Sterilization Indicator Tape available  for Heat or Steam Sterilization
The adhesive tape is used to seal autoclave bags and pouches and changes color when the contents have passed through a sterilization cycle. Each roll is 165 feet (50m) long.

 

Autoclave Deoderizers

 

Autoclave deodorizers can help keep autoclaves smelling fresh and clean. The deodorizers are placed in the autoclave during its run cycle, releasing a refreshing scent to mask undesirable odors coming from the autoclave.

Spreaders

 

T and L-Shaped disposable spreaders offer an economical and convenient way for spreading samples on agar surfaces and filters in Petri dishes. The foot of the spreaders feature a smooth rounded surface to facilitate even spreading of liquid samples across the surface of agar plates without gouging or cutting the medium. The spreaders are supplied sterile so there is no need to flame sterilize or autoclave.

 

•    Durable, non-breakable polystyrene (PS) spreaders pose no safety hazard like glass spreaders
•    L-shaped for convenient "lazy" spreading; just turn the Petri dish for smooth, even sample distribution

Inoculating Loops

 

Disposable inoculation loops and needles offer the most convenient and safest way of streaking culture media. These polystyrene (PS) inoculation loops are smooth and flexible to facilitate uniform streaking of culture media. All loops are sterilized by gamma irradiation. The 1uL and 10uL inoculation loops are available with the loop on one end and an integrated needle on the other end, eliminating the need for a separate needle.

Test Tubes

 

We offer an extensive line of multi-use glass or plastic test tubes. 

 

Plastic Tubes

 

The tubes are molded from premium grade polystyrene for clarity or polypropylene for impact strength and stability to common acids, alkalies, and solvents. Polystyrene tubes can withstand up to 1500 RPM during centrifugation. Polypropylene tubes can withstand up to 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable.

 

Glass Tubes

 

The borosilicate glass tubes provide excellent chemical resistance and durability. They feature well-rounded bottoms and smooth, fire-polished rims. Dimensional specifications are rigidly controlled for reliable, uniform results.

 

The tubes are produced in an ISO 9001:2008 certified factory. They are available in six sizes.

Plastic Serological Pipettes

 

  • Globe Scientific's plastic serological pipettes are produced under the strictest protocols and offer the highest degree of accuracy. The pipettes are supplied with an aerosol barrier plug that prevents both liquid and aerosols from contaminating the pipettors.
